Part-time Advertising Sales Representative
The Advertising Sales Representative for Limestone Post Magazine is a great opportunity for an outgoing and experienced advertising salesperson who wants a part-time position, with flexible hours, but who also wants to get involved and be engaged in Bloomington and the surrounding communities. Our mission is to publish in-depth, informative, and unique stories by freelance writers, and our site is funded through advertising support.
At Limestone Post, we take pride in our involvement and partnerships with local businesses and organizations, so this position is an opportunity to collaborate with many of the dynamic leaders in Bloomington and beyond. It’s a chance to be a part of something exciting.

This includes creating leads, setting appointments, negotiating ad agreements, and, ultimately, building relationships with new and existing clients. You’ll work closely with the Publisher and the Director of Marketing & Advertising. An important aspect of the position is learning about the marketing and advertising goals of our business partners and helping them find creative and effective ways for them to tell their stories to our readers.
- Advertising sales experience — digital, print, or broadcast — is required. Your immediate responsibility will be to sell ad space on the website.
- Proficiency in WordPress, Creative Cloud, and social media platforms preferred.
- Excellent communication and customer-service skills are vital.
